Ski Heavenly - Customize your Heavenly ski vacations with Ski.com

It’s no mystery that ski resorts are plentiful in the United States, especially in Lake Tahoe. However, nowhere else in the country do you have the option of skiing into two different states. Situated on the California and Nevada state borders, Heavenly Resort is a unique destination with all of the amenities of a big city and some of the most beautiful landscape and terrain in the world. Heavenly has it all.

With lift service to 10,040 feet, Heavenly is Tahoe’s highest mountain. 4,300 acres, 97 runs, 30 lifts and four base facilities spanning across two states, and Heavenly is also one of North America’s largest mountains. If this doesn’t get your heart racing, just wait. Heavenly averages 360 inches of snow annually and has one of the United State’s largest snowmaking systems covering 70% of the mountain. Can you say snow?

Heavenly’s terrain varies greatly and has everything from blue squares to black diamonds for every level of skier or rider. Perfect that Method Grab on one of the terrain parks or take it easy on one of the many groomers. Easy load lifts and a gondola make wherever you decide to conquer, easily accessible. If you are of the most experienced kind, be sure to check out the Mott and Killbrew canyons which are designated for experienced skiers and riders only.

Your Heavenly Vacation

If you are looking to escape the crowds and experience some solitude on the mountain, then you’ve come to the right place. Hevenly’s famous and abundant trees are spaced perfectly for skiing and riding and offer untouched powder where you can create your own perfect first tracks. Make some turns between the Aspens, White Firs and Pines that cover this expansive and beautiful terrain and experience some of the best tree skiing anywhere.

If you don’t happen to ski or snowboard, do not fret. Heavenly offers an array of activities to partake in off the slopes. Try your hand at cross-country skiing, take a sleigh ride, go snowshoeing, rent a snowmobile for the day or take the family for some fun-filled tubing. If you need a break from the great outdoors, then play a hand at one of the many casinos, catch a movie at the local theater, play some games at the video arcade, or channel your inner “Dude” at the local bowling alley.

Lodging is plentiful and the options include everything from private accommodations or four-star service to just somewhere to crash while you’re not tearing up the mountain. Shopping and an array or restaurant and bar options are available in Heavenly Village, which also has mountain access from a gondola if you feel the need to get right back to mid mountain.

Accessibility is one of Heavenly’s strong suits. With the Reno-Tahoe International Airport being within an hour by car and the Sacramento International Airport within two hours, Heavenly is ideal for those who are looking for convenience and the amenities that may not be as readily available in other mountain resorts.

Ski Heavenly and experience the amazing nightlife of glamorous shows, the lure of casinos, dance clubs and jazz bars and one week may not be enough to catch

it all. Let us help create an unforgettable ski vacation today to Heavenly. Ski.com can provide you with lodging accommodations, air travel, ground transportation, lift tickets, ski or snowboard rentals, activities to events around town and more. Experience a true Heavenly ski vacation with ski.com.

It was probably one of the best trips that I have gone on. My boyfriend and I had a hard time coming home and wished I would have booked it a few more days.

Good Times

Excellent
My first winter trip to Heavenly was a great experience. The weather was great, the snow was great, and the food was fantastic! I left Heavenly, however, slightly confused. Confused is how I would describe the the staff on and off the mountain. Not sure if this is a California thing, but no one could give me a straight answer to any question. ...

Heavenly made plenty of snow.

Excellent
We visited Heavenly from December 8 through December 16, 2011 when there was a drought in the Southwest. Heavenly made plenty of snow on the runs that were open. It was cold and sunny on the mountain. We were able to enjoy skiing and use the year old Tamarac Lodge for lunch.

Spring in Heavenly

Excellent
I had an incredible time skiing at Heavenly on the eastern side of Tahoe over spring break. The snow was surprisingly good given how late in the season it was. I actually read about Heavenly on Findthebest.com's ski resorts app, "See full review >>

Skied Heavenly And Squaw @ Lake Tahoe

5
Excellent
We arrived on Boxing Day (Dec 26 in the U.S. of A) evening. Checked just in time for night skiing at Squaw. Maybe I'm spoiled by the excellent night skiing in Vancouver (I'm speaking of last season, not this on folks...), but I wasn't really impressed by the cattle call lift routine you're subjected to if you ski all the way down the mountain. You...
